TheLaura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glowretails for $38.00 USD & is availableat Sephora and other retailers. Lượt thích their classic translucent powder, this powder is contained in a plastic tub with a sifter. This is pretty basic packaging for a loose powder. This powder comes in two shades, Translucent và Medium Deep. I have the shade translucent and it works very well for me. I would only recommend the Medium Deep shade if you are quite tan or have a deep skin tone because the Translucent will suit most skin tones.
The powder is super fine & sets your foundation reallywell. It prevents oil from breaking though & breaking down makeup. I found that it does phối my makeup for a whole 6 to 8 hours & it looks very flawless and oil-free. I find it is best to use a little bit at a time, taking from the cap first but if you bởi dip into the powder directly. Be sure to lớn only dip very lightly & work the sản phẩm into the brush evenly before applying. This is crucial because of the glow factor of this powder. While I love a luminous finish lớn my face, this powder borders on too glowy. The powder has noticeable very fine shimmer và glow. They are not large particles of shimmer but while they are super fine particles there is a lot of of shimmer running through the powder. The shimmer is also quite gold và can make you look lượt thích one of those robotic-men you find standing around on the boardwalk! Seriously, be careful about applying too much of this powder on! I have found my skin looking lượt thích I may have accidentally dusted my face with gold highlighter instead of powder. The biggest problem I have with the shimmer being gold is that it isn"t a universal shade and I don"t think it would flatter every skin tone. In fact, on my warm skin tone I really don"t like it because the gold shimmer is emphasized and makes me look very gold.
I wish my camera could capture the shimmer in the powder but there is a lot of shimmer throughout the powder.
